Cardinal Title Group is accepting resumes for a real estate/settlement attorney to join our growing team, based out of our Stafford and/or Fredericksburg offices. The candidate must be able to conduct real estate settlements while also effectively performing the job functions outlined below. The position will also require occasional travel for settlements outside of the Fredericksburg office.

• Prepare and review deeds, contracts, powers of attorney, trust documents, title abstract reports, and any other legal documents relevant to Cardinal Title settlements
• Provide legal advice to real estate agents, their clients, while also representing Cardinal Title Group
• Lead/teach educational classes relevant to real estate
• Review land records and chain-of-title
• Assist in resolving any title claims
• Assist in various other relevant legal matters

• Must be a licensed attorney in Virginia
• 5+ years of title/real estate settlement experience
