Cardinal Title Group, a regional family-owned and operated title company and settlement agency is accepting resumes for a senior real estate/settlement attorney to join our growing team, based out of our Gaithersburg office. The candidate must be able to conduct real estate settlements while also effectively performing the job functions outlined below.

Location:  Gaithersburg, MD

• Help oversee the day-to-day operations and personnel of each office
• Implement practices and procedures as needed to ensure that each office is running smoothly and efficiently
• Recruit, train, and retain team members
• Act as the point of contact to address issues within each office
• Prepare and review deeds, contracts, powers of attorney, trust documents, title abstract reports, and any other legal documents relevant to Cardinal Title settlements
• Provide legal advice to real estate agents, their clients, while also representing Cardinal Title Group
• Lead/teach educational classes relevant to real estate
• Review land records and chain-of-title
• Assist in resolving any title claims
• Assist in various other relevant legal matters
• Conduct settlements as needed

• Must be a licensed attorney in Maryland
• 5+ years of title/real estate settlement experience
