As the VP, Paid Media & Planning you will be responsible for leading portfolio planning for B2B and B2C clients, overseeing the strategy and business development pitches, guiding the teams and the process to exceed client expectations.


  • Lead teams of mid and junior level media specialists responsible for cross-channel media plans with a focus on digital.
  • Oversee development of media strategies, strategic planning and senior client management.
  • Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate work activities of the team, inspire and guide
  • Accountable for clients’ paid media programs and processes from strategy to execution across channels such as SEM, display, video, social, along with mobile platforms
  • Build (with team) paid media goals and media KPIs that ladder into marketing objectives
  • Own forecasting and budget planning process; develop investment cases
  • Oversee test strategies focused on improving key metrics. Take initiative to improve capabilities and results
  • Leverage data, reporting, and analysis resources to refine acquisition strategies
  • Serve as an integral part of the Media Strategy & Management leadership team, making recommendations on strategy and approach to drive innovation and successful omnichannel digital paid media campaigns, lead client pitches and drive business development.
  • Understand the strategic direction of marketing plans, goals and expected success metrics to inform media strategy; establish strategic media priorities and objectives
  • Lead cross-organizational alignment across paid media strategies and priorities
  • Drive thought leadership
  • Collaborate and seek out varying perspectives and alternatives
  • Influence decisions and drive behavior/organizational change with internal stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization
  • Hire, manage, nurture and mentor a team of media strategists and planners


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8+ years’ agency experience with paid media, paid search, social and display
  • B2B and B2C client experience preferred
