Legal Tech firm that is a market leader in cloud-based eDiscovery and trial solutions for law firms, corporations, and government agencies is looking for a Sales Director to join their growing team.  Their eDiscovery platform helps attorneys manage large data sets, identify relevant information via AI and complex searches, and organize the evidence to build compelling arguments to support their clients' interests.  This is a new business role with responsibilities for the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, with a dedicated BDR team member to support the process.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle from qualification through closed business within one’s assigned territory
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through a consultative selling approach; knowledge of Challenge Sales preferred
• Communicate company value proposition and solution offering
• Perform product demonstrations; prepare proposals and sales contracts
• Maintain a high level of activity (meetings per week) to ensure a healthy pipeline
• Track opportunities in one’s pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and report revenue in CRM.
• Collaborate with other team members (e.g. Marketing, Account Management, Customer Success) to delight prospects and customers
• Proactively seek opportunities to innovate on our sales processes and create new efficiencies
• Meet and achieve quarterly sales targets
• Travel as needed

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years experience as a quota-carrying sales representative
  • Full cycle saas-based sales experience required
  • Demonstrated record of success in previous market facing roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work and thrive in a in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • Positive, pro-active, and collaborative work ethic
  • Experience in the legal industry and or/with Software-as-Service company preferred
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com
  • BS/BA degree required
